Carol McManus

Carol joined Sandpiper Realty, Inc. in 2011 after becoming a licensed sales agent in 2011. As the proprietor of Espresso Love, a successful local café, she has a vast knowledge of business and island culture and is known for her professionalism and dedication to developing quality, working relationships.

Carol has a diverse professional background. She is a graduate of Salem State College and while raising her five children, taught the fifth grade and eventually became the owner of three childhood education centers in the Boston area. After spending many years vacationing on the island, in 1986, she decided to make the island her home.She opened Espresso Love in 1992.After almost 20 years and with Espresso Love solidly established and managed, Carol decided that she was ready for a new career and obtained her real estate license in 2010.

Community involvement is very important to Carol and she is currently Chairperson of the Martha's Vineyard Food & Wine Festival benefiting the Martha's Vineyard Boys & Girls Club, a board member of the Possible Dreams Auction.She is a past board member of Vineyard House and has also donated her time and found great pleasure in giving cooking lessons to children at the Edgartown School.
