Courtney Marek has been with Sandpiper Realty, Inc. for 12 years and is a licensed sales agent. As well as her considerable expertise in the sales industry, she assumed responsibility for agency oversight in 2004 and has been instrumental in keeping the agency on the cutting edge of real estate trends.

Courtney, a Connecticut native, is a fifth generation summer resident of Oak Bluffs, providing her with a good historical base of island knowledge. She currently resides in Vineyard Haven with her husband and two small sons. She is a member of the Martha’s Vineyard Women’s Network, a professional organization providing continuing business education and networking opportunities to women on Martha's Vineyard. She is also a member of the LINKMV Task Force. LINKMV is the islands new MLS website which was launched in the Spring of 2008. The task force was created to serve as a sounding board as well as to provide a venue for feedback and suggestion regarding the program. She also donates her time time to fund raising endeavors for the Garden Gate Child Development Center and for the past 2 years has chaired their annual Art for Education Auction.
