Over more than two decades on-island, she has held a series of broad-reaching senior management roles ranging from digital media to real estate and is recognized as an active member in the community. She currently serves on the Vineyard House Board of Directors and is a former member of the Tisbury Planning Board.

As a licensed sales broker and Realtor® with advanced GRI designation, Dawn has established her reputation as thorough, detail-oriented, and honest, with a clear communication style and a client-centric approach, dedicated to providing the best possible experience during one of life’s most important transactions. The result of working successfully with hundreds of island businesses and organizations is a vast network of relationships, local knowledge, and creative negotiating skills that directly benefit her clients in achieving their real estate objectives.

Dawn was born and raised on Boston’s North Shore, where she developed her love for the coastal lifestyle and commitment to community service. A graduate of Wellesley College, she moved to the Vineyard full-time after meeting her husband, Island Artist Anthony Holand, known worldwide for his custom copper weathervanes. Together they bought a property in Vineyard Haven and renovated it to become their home and his studio gallery, Tuck & Holand Metal Sculptors, honored by the Governor as one of the “1,000 Great Places of Massachusetts”.

Her real estate experience continued professionally at Martha’s Vineyard Online – MVOL.com, developing digital marketing for island real estate agencies and pioneering real estate portals for the Martha’s Vineyard and Fairfield County Connecticut luxury markets. That success led to an executive role at Vineyard House, leading the design and construction of their new sober living campus, including three residences, administration office, and community meeting space. The campus setting revitalized the organization and instilled in Dawn a deep appreciation for the impact a real estate professional can have in transforming the lives of their clients.
